Cookie policy

A short policy, because this is a short list.

Last updated 18 September 2026

Why you are not seeing a cookie banner. This website sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. The only cookie it can set is strictly necessary for an anti-spam measure on the enquiry forms. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent — so we do not interrupt you to ask for it.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, which is sent back on later requests. Similar technologies include local storage, which keeps data in your browser without sending it to the server at all. This policy covers both.

2. What this website uses

NameTypePurposeExpires
PHPSESSID Strictly necessary cookie Set only on the contact and quote pages. It lets the server apply a rate limit so that automated systems cannot flood our inbox. It contains a random identifier and nothing about you. When you close your browser
sw-theme Local storage, not a cookie Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Stored in your browser and never transmitted to us. Until you clear your browser data

That is the complete list. If you never visit the contact or quote pages and never use the appearance toggle, this website stores nothing on your device at all.

3. What this website does not use

  • No Google Analytics, or any other analytics script.
  • No advertising or remarketing cookies.
  • No Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok or other social media pixels.
  • No embedded third-party fonts, videos or maps that would let another company observe your visit.
  • No profiling, cross-site tracking or data sold to anybody.

All fonts and styles are served from this domain. Nothing on these pages phones home to a third party.

4. If we add anything later

If we ever introduce analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will publish a proper consent banner that is off by default, obtain your consent before setting anything, make refusing as easy as accepting, and update this page before it goes live. We will not quietly add trackers to a policy that says there are none.

5. Server logs

Separately from cookies, our web server records each request — the IP address, the page requested, the time, the referring page and the browser user-agent. This is standard practice and is used for security and diagnostics. These logs are typically kept for around 30 days by our hosting provider. See the privacy policy for detail.

6. Managing cookies yourself

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear local storage along with your browsing data. Blocking the session cookie will not stop you browsing the site, but the enquiry form's anti-spam check may stop it from submitting. Guidance for every major browser is available at aboutcookies.org.

7. Payments

If we send you to a payment page hosted by Stripe, that page sets its own cookies under its own policy, including cookies used for fraud prevention. Those are governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not this one.
